Process: Glazing: Glaze Recipe Photos

These are photos of pots with the glazes from my Glaze Recipes page. Keep in mind that most glazes look very different on various clay bodies: agreat porcelain glaze may not work well on stoneware and vice versa. The same is true for stoneware bodies with varying amounts of iron, porcelains with varying amounts of ball clay, etc. Likewise, variations will occur with different kiln and firing types, under- or over-fired pots, etc.

As with any glazes, you'll need to test in your conditions to see what works for you. See the Glaze Recipes page for a disclaimer regarding use of these glazes.

Click each glaze title to go to it's recipe.
