The Archive Gallery shows highlights of my work since 1994. Over time my pots have changed in many ways, from the skill and experience I'm able to put into them to my evolving interests and stylistic curiosity. I think being a potter is like a quest that lasts a lifetime; there's always much more to explore than time to do it.

Memory is a very important part of making things, particularly to developing a personal style and the underlying reasons for the choices one makes in their work. I like being able to look backwards and see the first glimmer of an idea, the learning stages with a new kind of clay or glaze, and the gradual refinement of the small details that make up a very good pot. I hope this record illuminates where my current pots are coming from, and shows one path through all the possibilities.
